General Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions for attendees apply to every person registering as regular attendees for the iCatse’s International Conference organized by the iCatse (hereafter referred to as “the conference organizers”).
All references to a date or a deadline, mentioned in these terms and on other conference documents, refer to the Korea Standard Time (KST).
Only fully completed registration forms will be accepted. The paper registration fee is required for an author to participate in our conference. The registration covers the cost of 1x author and 1x paper; any additional papers must be separately registered as an “Additional Paper” and paid in full. Additional authors that aren’t presenting at the conference must register as a “Listener” in order to attend.

All Korean Residents must make payment through Wire Transfer. For additional Author, Paper or Listener payments please make them one at a time. You must submit a Student ID proof for the discounted rates.

Registration Includes the Following:

Confirmation of payment will be sent upon receipt of payment in full during Conference. If the full payment has not been received before the deadline indicated, the registration will remain valid, however, the due fee will be increased according to the payment period (early/regular).
All conference attendees are advised to register before Early Bird Deadline to receive a discount on registration. Any registrations made after the Early Bird Deadline will be required to pay “Regular” registration fees.
To be able to register as a Student Author you must provide proof of current enrollment or ID to the Conference Secretariat through email.
You must transfer the full Registration amount to our account and must pay for the transferring fee the bank charges. Please note that the fee must be transferred under the registrant’s name and must be stated on the receipt. A copy of the receipt of the bank remittance must be emailed to us for payment confirmation. If the transferring name is different than the registered person then notify us immediately with the correct proof.
The registration fee includes entry to all conference sessions, corporate satellites, the exhibition and poster area, the networking mixer, the opening session, and the closing session, provided that sufficient seating space is available. Please note that the security personnel of the conference center are responsible for granting or denying access to conference halls in case of overfilling, according to room capacities and national legislation. The conference organizer cannot guarantee available space in every session.
Family members will be allowed to enter the poster presentation exhibition only (no access to oral presentation sessions or industry-related areas). They must be linked to a regular delegate. Only a plausible amount of family members can be registered with one delegate.
Parents/guardians of children agree to take full responsibility for them while at the conference.
The conference organizers cannot guarantee that a conference bag and other conference materials will be available for late registrations. All conference materials will be distributed on-site.
If the maximum attendee’s capacity is reached, the conference organizers reserve the right to refuse additional registrations.
A registration confirmation/receipt will be sent to you during the conference or via email, a related payment and any necessary documents have been received by the registration department. Attendees may be requested to present this registration confirmation/receipt at the registration counter as proof of their registration and payment.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments should be made in advance and in USD only for foreigners who don’t have the Republic of Korea nationality, using a credit card or by bank transfer. All Korean Residents must make payment through Wire Transfer as KRW.
All bank fees and money transfer costs must be paid by the transmitter. Any negative balance will be collected on site or via wire transfer.
REGISTRATION NAME CHANGE
A handling fee of USD $50 will be charged for every name change to an existing conference registration. A new registration form for the substitute delegate should NOT be submitted. Name changes will be accepted by email indicating the old and new names including the required contact details until before 15 day from the Conference. After this date, all name changes must be carried out on-site and paid directly.
Notice of cancellation (e.g. in case of sickness, lack of funding or any other personal reasons) must be made in writing by email to the iCatse Office. The notification must include all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted. The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from the iCatse Conference Registration Department is received.
Registration fees may be refunded as follows:
– Before Early Bird Deadline: 100% refund (Excluding taxes and bank charge)
– Before Regular Deadline: 75% refund (Excluding taxes and bank charge)
– Before 60 days from the Conference day (Day1) : 50% refund (Excluding taxes and bank charge)
– After the Conference: No refund
Refunds will be may made after the conference.
In the case of over-payment or double payment, refund requests must be made in writing and sent to the iCatse Conference office, by email to each Conferences Secretariat
No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, in case of cancellation of speakers, lack of space in the conference room or any other incidents during the conference, which are beyond the control of the conference organizers.
By registering to the iCatse International participants agree that neither the organizing committee nor the congress office assume any liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance. The conference fee does not include insurance.
CANCELLATION OF THE CONFERENCE
In the event that the conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the conference organizers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the conference organizers, the conference organizers cannot be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses, etc.
Under these circumstances, the conference organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to credit it for a future conference, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the conference and which could not be recovered from third parties.
MODIFICATION OF THE PROGRAMME
The conference organizers reserve the right to modify the program of Conference. No refunds can be granted in case of cancellation of speakers, lack of space in the conference room or any other incidents during the conference which are beyond the control of the conference organizers.
